Theres this part from the book im reading that touched something in me. i'll give you just the part. the prologue for you is that, these are men in jail, one of them is in jail for kidnapping his daughter, named Andrew, but he also gave her a good life. the other man Concise, is like a friend the man has made. They were having dinner and watching the news when there is a report that somebody died in a fire due to an explosion of a meth lab. The guy who died, is the guy who is collaborating with Concise tofrom outside of jail sell meth to make money. meth is some kind of drug, like heroin and ice and whatever. ok here goes:

"We weren't giving it away," Concise snaps. "If someone was fool enough to mess himself up, that was his problem."

I shake my head, disgusted. "If you build it, they will come."

"IF you build it," Concise says, "you cover your rent. If you build it, you pay off the loan sharks. If you build it, you put shoes on your kid's feet and food in his belly and maybe even show up every now and then with a toy that every other goddamn kid in the school already has." He looks up at me. "If you build it, maybe your son dont have to, when he grow up."

End.

hmm, its the kind of thing you read, and you dont exactly have a reaction. you feel something inside, but the only way you can express it is by keeping quiet.

ahh, the smell of school is at my door. haha. i am still in no mood to complete my multicam assignment. all i have left is the storyboard and floor manager's cues.

i wanted to do this funny thing, we compare newspaper ads and vote on which massuese is the prettiest. hahaha. but, sorry no time. i do want to do it though i think it'd be funny.

OH!! I REMEMBER!
i had the most amazing dream yesterday!!
I HAD A BLACK HORSE!! and it was soooooooooo pretty. and it was the raddest thing that i could ride a horse! seriously damn cool! the horse's name was Brandy. Haha, i didnt name it though. k then it was semi-adventure-ish lah. like use the horse to find somebody. 5 people out of a whole group had a black horse. i know ifa had one. haha. BUT THEN, my horse ran way!!!! :(:(:(:(:( i was so sad and i didnt want to give up looking for my horse. then i came to this place where there are alot of black horses, and i was shouting for my horse, but before i could enter the field, i woke up -.-"""". but, ahhhhhhhh i want a horse!!!!!!

hahaha.. then, i had another dream, action pack also, this time, people coming after me. and i was trying to run from them. haha. quite cool. was in this ancient sort of like house, and i was hiding like, on top of the pillar. and then someone found me and they started shooting at me. then i woke up. and then the dream continued, unfortunately this time in HDB flat. hahaha. then i ran to the multistorey carpark and then, i cant remember. lol. lame ah the second part. i still want the horse in my dream. lol.

today, i am officially COOL. coz ive caught the benchwarmers. hahaha. hilarious show. slapstick shit. then, we watched cars too. initially we wanted to cach x-men so we can be even cooler but, no seats =(. over the hedge is reserved to watch with my sister. so cars it is! i reckon the producers know its weird for cars to kiss, so they stopped the scene with an interruption before it got weird. haha.

and after today, i need to start on my assignments. zzzzzz. aaaaaaand theres the rugby camp. i reckon i will be bringing my laptop there to finish my stuff if needed. sometimes i have this terrible feeling at the bottom of my stomach that i bought the wrong laptop, yet sometimes i feel it was a great buy. hmmm i guess i need stronger shoulder muscles, or whatever. haha.

oh, also, on wednesday, i told raudha and corny, that for once in my lifetime, i want to date a white guy. haha. we'll see how that goes. maybe i will find one when im 70.

besides that, i also found out something. something that well, was quite unexpected but not like it was a big deal. it was something that got me thinking. and no, not that i like him like him, but i have ever thought about what it would be like if we ever got together that way. plus ive always wished to be together with someone but starting out as good friends first. coz all of my ex-boyfriends have been like, meet you-like you. then i get dumped. and i feel like its coz we had no friendship to begin with and now i know its important. i think it would be great if we got together. but its something thats doubtable. coz as much chemistry we have i think we can be quiet different too. especially religion-wise. but who knows, if things are meant to be im sure something can be worked out. was quite flattering to hear about that piece of news though. haha. :p

but he is a really really sweet guy.

remember that uncle who told me the story about his ns days?

just a re-cap. haha, he said his NS bunkmate snored really loudly. and in the morning when they looked tired and the dude asked them, my uncle told him "last night got motorcycle racing". hahaha.

so then today, we were watching singapore idol. and he made this comment about the girl who sang some song by air supply. and then after he heard her, he said, "wah, if air supply was there the air supply will cut off". HAHAHAHAAHAHAHHHAAH. DAAAAAAAMN funny sia my uncle.

btw, check out the pretty watch i bought! :D only $19.90 from the Better Toy Store. Filzah and Hana you guys should go there and look at the bracelets. i think you both will so dig them. esp filzah i think.

i hope it doesnt get sold before i can get my hands on it. i wanna buy the corpse bride emily figurine as well. it comes in a coffin case. pretty cool. will update you guys again! and sorry to say, no i am not free, because in TP, a holiday is NOT a holiday. i have 3 assignments due at the end of the holiday. boo.
